| Coverage | Core | Select | Reserve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frame and welds | 10 years | 10 years | 10 years |
| Glass seal | 10 years | 10 years | 10 years |
| Finish — AAMA 2604 powder coat | 10 years | 12 years | 15–20 years* |
| Hardware and screen mechanisms | 3 years | 5 years | 10 years |
*Reserve’s finish is 15 years on the standard AAMA 2604 powder coat and 20 years where AAMA 2605 is specified at order, at an upcharge. Coastal salt corrosion coverage applies only to Reserve installed in California, for 10 years. The hardware term covers locks, handles, hinges, rollers, operators and screen mechanisms.
Six habits that keep it covered.
Mild detergent and clean water, two to four times a year.
The drainage slots in the sill let water back out of the frame. Blocked weeps hold water against the seals.
Vacuum grit out of tracks and sills, then use a dry PTFE or silicone spray once a year. Never oil.
Replace torn gaskets. Clean glass with a soft cloth; no blades or scrapers on Low-E glass.
Water on the room side is indoor humidity. Haze between the panes is a failed seal, and that is covered.
The powder coat is the finish. Paint or sealant over it voids the finish coverage.
