COLLECTION TWO
SELECT
We build what you actually draw.
Thermally broken aluminum windows & doors · built on our own line
The collection

Our own plant.
Our own profiles.
Your drawing.

Select is built on our own line, in our own factory, to our own profiles — to your exact dimensions, shapes and configurations.

That is the whole point of owning a plant. A catalog can only sell you what is in the catalog. Select starts from the drawing instead: the opening you have, the sightline you want, the configuration the elevation actually calls for. Non-standard is the normal order here, not an exception somebody has to approve.

It is built to a higher specification — 6 mm tempered glass in every pane, a polyamide thermal break, Roto locking with Coastal 316 stainless handles on every opening window and door, an AAMA 2604 architectural finish, and the tolerances of a line we run ourselves rather than one we manage but do not own. Owning the plant is also why, when nobody else will build it, we can.

01
Geometry
Radius heads, parabolic arches, rakes, trapezoids and non-standard configurations are ordinary work, not a special request with a surcharge attached.
02
Standards
Our specification, our tooling, our quality standard, checked on our own floor by our own people before anything ships.
03
Revisions
A revision to a drawing is a conversation on our own line, answered directly by the people who will build the unit.

The range

What we build in Select.

Every product below is made to your openings. Maximum sizes are reference sizes — larger sizes on request, confirmed case by case. In sliding configurations X is a panel that slides and O is a panel that is fixed, read left to right viewed from the exterior.

Fixed windows
Picture units and the fixed lites in mulled assemblies. The largest single opening in the range.
Max 70 3/4 × 137 3/4 in (1800 × 3500 mm)
Casement windows
Roto locking, Coastal 316 stainless handle, retractable screens. The most efficient egress window in the collection.
Max 42 × 95 7/8 in (1067 × 2438 mm)
Awning windows
Top-hung, outward opening, Roto locking, retractable screens. Wide formats for clerestory and over-door runs.
Max 94 3/8 × 62 7/8 in (2400 × 1600 mm)
Sliding windows
Two panels on two tracks, or three panels on three tracks with two sliding and one fixed. Roto locking, retractable screens.
Panel to 62 7/8 × 95 7/8 in (1600 × 2438 mm)
Sliding patio doors
Roto locking, Coastal 316 stainless handle, retractable screens and a factory-set weep system at the sill.
Maximum panel size to be confirmed
Swing & entry doors
Inswing or outswing, single or double, specified at order. Roto multipoint locking, Coastal 316 stainless handle, retractable screens, threshold matched to the frame color.
Leaf to 39 1/4 × 110 1/8 in (1000 × 2800 mm)
Window walls
Mulled assemblies of fixed and operable units on a shared frame. Fewer frames per square meter than separate units.
Sized to the opening · structural mullion posts

Garage doors are a separate ARI category. Pivot entry doors, multi-slide doors and curtain wall are built in Core; tilt-and-turn windows in Core and Reserve.

03
Custom as standard

Made to your drawing.
Not to a catalog.

Bring the elevation, not a part number. Every unit is made to the dimension on your drawing, and mulled runs are built as one unit rather than a row of separate windows butted together on site.

Shapes are cut to the drawing as well — radius heads, parabolic arches, rakes, trapezoids, circles and angled assemblies. On a line we run ourselves, a shape is a drawing to build, not a special order to argue for.

Select is finished in Matte Black, White or Dark Bronze. AkzoNobel Interpon powder coat to AAMA 2604, one color inside and out as standard. Custom colors, AAMA 2605 and dual-color frames — one color inside, a different one outside — are available at additional charge. Thresholds are finished to match the frame.

Double casements and double doors are supplied with or without a center post. The default is no post, for an unobstructed opening, unless the drawing asks for one.

Shapes above are examples of work we have already built, not a catalog. The parabolic arch curves from the sill to the crown with no straight sides at all — difficult work, and the kind we take on. If you can imagine it, we will try to build it.

Construction

How a Select window is built.

ComponentSpecification
Frame6063-T5 aluminum, thermally broken. Select profile system, 2.0 mm (5/64 in) wall.
Thermal breakPolyamide strut, isolating the interior face of the frame from the exterior: 24 mm (15/16 in) on casement, awning, fixed, window wall and swing door; 15 mm (5/8 in) on sliders.
Glass6 mm (1/4 in) double glazed, 24 mm (15/16 in) insulating unit. T40 Low-E, argon filled. Every pane tempered.
HardwareRoto locking with Coastal 316 marine-grade stainless handles on every window and door.
ScreensRetractable screens on casement, awning and sliding windows, and on swing and sliding doors.
FinishAkzoNobel Interpon powder coat to AAMA 2604. Matte Black, White or Dark Bronze. Custom colors, AAMA 2605 and dual-color frames at additional charge.
GlazingEvery lite tempered, in every product, not only where code requires it. Safety etch on every pane.
Nail finIntegral, 4 sides, standard on every product; setback selectable per order to suit the wall cladding.
StructuralDesign pressure to be confirmed, by product and size.
Two sizes, always. Every quotation and every shop drawing carries the build size and the rough opening size — and for doors, the door slab size as well — so you know exactly how to prepare the framing and nothing is assumed on site.

Calculated whole-window values with T40 Low-E glass, from the factory. VT is visible transmittance — the share of daylight the glass lets through, where higher is brighter. Every product clears the 2021 IECC U-0.40 limit in climate zone 2 and the SHGC-0.25 limit where regulated. Zone 3 and above requires U-0.30 — specify Reserve there. Select does not carry an NFRC-certified label; specify Reserve where one is required.

Meets IRC R310 with a safety margin: sizes are set for 6.0 sq ft clear opening, 21 in clear width and 25 in clear height. Width × height in inches, outside frame. Casements open to 90°. Full tables on request.
To price a Select package, send three things. The window and door schedule or a takeoff with opening sizes; the elevations or a plan set, so mulled runs are priced as assemblies rather than separate units; and the finish, interior and exterior. Anything missing we will ask about rather than assume.

Warranty

What Select is covered for.

CoverageSelect
Frame & welds10 years
Insulating glass seal10 years
Finish — AAMA 2604 powder coat12 years
Hardware mechanism & screens5 years

The hardware term covers locks, handles, hinges, rollers, operators and screen mechanisms. Full terms, exclusions and the claim procedure are set out in the ARI Materials Limited Warranty, supplied with every order and available on request.

Care and maintenance

A thermally broken aluminum window asks very little, but it does ask for something. These six keep the finish, the hardware and the seals inside their warranty terms.

Wash the finish
Mild detergent and clean water, two to four times a year. No abrasive pads, no solvents and no pressure washer. Within a few miles of the coast, rinse quarterly.
Keep the weep holes clear
The sill carries drainage slots that let water back out of the frame. Blocked weeps hold water against the seal, and are a common source of leaks later reported as a product fault.
Clean and lubricate the hardware
Vacuum grit out of tracks and sills. Once a year, lubricate rollers, hinges and locking points with a dry PTFE or silicone spray — not oil, which holds dirt against the mechanism.
Check the seals and the glass
Inspect gaskets annually and replace any that are torn or compressed. Clean the glass with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth.
Condensation is not a failed seal
Water on the room side of the glass is indoor humidity meeting cold glass, and it is a ventilation question, not a product fault. A failed insulating glass seal shows as haze or moisture between the panes — that is covered.
Do not paint or seal the frame
The powder coat is the finish. Painting over it, or running sealant across the face of the frame, voids finish coverage. The perimeter joint between frame and wall belongs to the installation and should be inspected yearly.
Never use a razor blade, a scraper or any metal tool on the glass. It will scratch the coated surface, and a scratch cannot be polished out — the glass has to be replaced. Scratched glass is not a warranty claim. For paint spots or construction debris, soak the area with warm soapy water and lift it with a plastic scraper or a soft cloth.
Full care instructions are supplied with every order. Keeping to them is what keeps the coverage above in force — neglect, impact damage and site-applied coatings are the common exclusions.

The Process

From quote to container.

An ARI order runs on four steps. What differs from buying locally is not the paperwork — it is how much of the job you can see, from the day the extrusion starts to the photographs of your own crates taken before the container doors close.

01
Quote
Send a schedule, a takeoff or a set of plans. Opening and build sizes are stated on every line.
02
Confirm
Deposit paid, then shop drawings for every opening, approved and signed by you. Production is booked once both are in hand.
03
Track
ClearView shows production stage, container and arrival date, from confirmation through delivery.
04
Load
Final inspection and balance due, then labeling, crating and container loading — photographed in ClearView, so you see your own product packed before the container closes.
ClearView

The tracking system behind steps three and four. Every order gets its own view: where the frames and the glass are, what stage each is at, which container they are loaded into and when it lands.
