Reserve is the window you specify when the performance has to be proven rather than asserted.
Every Reserve product is tested to NFRC 100 and NFRC 200 by an accredited independent laboratory and listed in the NFRC Certified Products Directory under a CPD number. The label on the glass matches the directory entry, and that entry is what the plan checker will find. In a market where a great many labels do not survive that check, that is the whole difference.
Reserve is one certified system, specified by climate region. Reserve Title 24 is triple glazed for California, Oregon and Washington, where the U-factor limit is tightest. Reserve Southwest is certified double glazed for Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah — the same certification without paying for a third pane the code there does not ask for. The certified casement is the one exception: it is listed in a single triple-glazed makeup, so it is supplied triple glazed in either region — more performance than the Southwest code asks for, at no loss of compliance.
Both regions run the same platform — a 2.0 mm wall on the thermally broken 80 Series window profile and the 128 Series sliding door profile. Choosing a region changes the glass, and nothing else. Further regions are added to the same platform as those markets open; where the climate is colder the low U-factors govern and the solar gain cap falls away.
Reserve is a certified range, and certification is granted by product type — a rating does not carry from one operator type to another. These five products are certified, each in its own right and in each region it is listed for. Every one is still made to your openings: NFRC certifies the product line, not the size, so a 24-inch casement and a 96-inch casement carry the same rating. In sliding configurations X is a panel that slides and O is a panel that is fixed, read left to right viewed from the exterior.
Awning and sliding windows, pivot entry doors, window walls and curtain wall are built in Core and Select. They are not part of the certified range: a product type has to be certified in its own right, and we will not put a Reserve label on something that does not carry one. Where a project needs both, the certified and non-certified lines specify side by side on the same schedule.
A certified line is not a size list. NFRC certifies a product line and reports its rating at one fixed model size; every size sold under that line carries that rating. Reserve is made to your openings exactly like Core and Select — a 24-inch casement and a 96-inch casement label identically, and neither one costs you the certificate.
Color can be specified separately inside and out. AkzoNobel Interpon powder coat to AAMA 2604 as standard, in Matte Black, White or Dark Bronze. AAMA 2605, dual-color frames and custom colors are available at additional charge — matched to Benjamin Moore or Pantone, or to any custom color sample submitted. Thresholds are finished to match the frame.
Double casements and double doors are supplied with or without a center post. The default is no post, for an unobstructed opening, unless the drawing asks for one.
| Component | Reserve Title 24 | Reserve Southwest |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | 6063-T5 aluminum, thermally broken. 80 Series profile on windows, 128 Series on sliding doors. 2.0 mm wall thickness. | |
| Thermal break | Polyamide strut, isolating the interior face of the frame from the exterior. | |
| Glass | Triple glazed. 6 mm double-silver Low-E + 12 mm argon + 6 mm clear + 12 mm argon + 6 mm double-silver Low-E, warm-edge spacer in both cavities. | Double glazed. Low-E, argon filled, in the makeup listed on each certificate. The certified casement is listed triple glazed only, and is supplied triple glazed here as well. |
| Glazing | Every lite tempered, in every product, not only where code requires it. Safety etch on every pane. | |
| Hardware | Roto locking with Coastal 316 marine-grade stainless handles on every window and door. Adjustable hinges on windows and doors. | |
| Screens | Retractable screens on casement windows and on sliding doors. Black stainless mesh screen on the tilt-and-turn, opening inward with the sash. | |

| Structural | Design pressure to be confirmed, by product and size. | |
| Sizes, hardware, warranty | Identical in both regions. The region changes the glass makeup — not the frame, the sightline, the sizes, the hardware or the coverage. | |

*The finish term is 15 years on the standard AAMA 2604 powder coat; AAMA 2605 carries 20 years and must be specified at order, at an upcharge. Coastal salt corrosion is covered on Reserve for 10 years. The hardware term covers locks, handles, hinges, rollers, operators and screen mechanisms. Full terms, exclusions and the claim procedure are set out in the ARI Materials Limited Warranty, supplied with every order and available on request.
A thermally broken aluminum window asks very little, but it does ask for something. These six keep the finish, the hardware and the seals inside their warranty terms.
An ARI order runs on four steps. What differs from buying locally is not the paperwork — it is how much of the job you can see, from the day the extrusion starts to the photographs of your own crates taken before the container doors close.
The tracking system behind steps three and four. Every order gets its own view: where the frames and the glass are, what stage each is at, which container they are loaded into and when it lands.
